Adhering to BS3998:2010 Recommendations for Tree Work, all aspects of tree surgery is covered, from removing a single limb that may, for example be causing interference to properties, dismantling trees over greenhouses, sheds etc, or the complete reshaping of the crown of a tree for aesthetic purposes, or simply because it has outgrown the space it was planted in.

All pruning or limb removal is carried out with the well-being of the tree being of paramount importance, always back to growing points or branch junctions, enabling the tree to continue to grow as healthily as possible.

Ideally, most deciduous trees should have work carried out on them, other than felling, during their dormant period of late Autumn to early Spring, when they are not in leaf. This time-frame coincides with avoiding the bird nesting period of April to June. Nests are left alone until the birds are fledged.

Relationships have been developed with structural engineers and work is passed to Carringtons to carry out essential and necessary work for storm damaged trees, or on trees that could prove problematic to homes and buildings and on public highways and walkways.

Carringtons also undertake work on trees with Tree Preservation Orders and work in conjunction with the relevant local authorities to ensure that the work is performed sympathetically to the tree, whilst satisfying the clients needs.
